I'm retired but still consulting...and busy. I started a new hobby in 2011; I'm the proud owner of a 1937 Pontiac 4 door sedan. What a ride.

Since graduating from NWCHS in 1959, I went to OSU, got married in 1963 and graduated from OSU. I have lived in OK then NJ*, MT*, then on to PA*, NY, MD*, VA, MI, MA and now Arizona for 30 years. [The * means 1-3 months or summer jobs]

After 2 years in NY as an engineer, I decided to go to Graduate School at William and Mary in VA. After 2 1/2 years there, I got a Master's degree in Physics. I could have taken another 1 1/2 years to do a thesis on something I was not interested in but decided to follow the money trail to Michigan. I have been in many engineering and management positions in electro-optics and night vision as well as management positions such as Engineering systems design manager, International marketing as well as customer training manager.

Since leaving the corporate world [after 5 different companies], I have been in director and management positions with two startup companies as well as continuing to run my own Optical Systems and International Business Relations consulting company in Phoenix.

Since leaving NW Classen I have visited or lived in 49 out of 50 states and 29 countries of United Kingdom [England & Wales], Europe, Asia, Middle East, Northern Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Rim/Orient. I estimate that I have flown over 1 million miles, having done 2 round the world business trips (one week each) and 6 times across the equator.

Linda and I married 3 months before graduating from OSU. We are still together. Linda has had an off and on career and as well as helping to raise two great sons, while I was off traveling the USA and the World. Our 2 sons & families, now in San Diego and San Antonio, have blessed us with 6 fantastic grandchildren, 4 boys and 2 girls. Linda worked for Xerox in MI as a systems analyst and at the USDA in AZ (plus US Customs just as it was becoming TSA), before retiring.

My most active, long term hobby, since OSU has been photography. I have taken over 3,000 pictures many years. I also like woodworking and keeping up with the latest cars, and enjoying Valley Roadrunners Chapter of VMCCA [classic car club].

I still keep my hand in on consulting and design management in optical systems, video systems, digital cameras, computers and electronics. I still have my old 60's vintage LPs and a 500 watt system to play them. I also have boxes of film, prints and color slides. Most photos since 1999 are all digital files, including 126 which I took in Australia [1999] while consulting for 1 month for an old business friend.

I'm looking forward to seeing my classmates from NWCHS for our next reunion.

Let me hear some details about you all, Larry
