Dear Classmates of "59:

I have never been to a class reunion of either High School, College, and/or Graduate School. However, I look eagerly look forward with great anticipation to seeing all you folks I fondly remember since leaving Oklahoma City after my 11th grade at NW Classen to move to Cincinnati, OH.

I left a chuck of my heart with Betty Pritchard Loch Stewart, also class of '59, and never did stop loving her. Betty and I reunited in 2002 and married January 12, 2008. Betty died from a misdiagnosed fungal pneumonia in an ICU at Bapist Hospital April 28th, 2008 after 3 months of marriage. We had had a wonderful 2 month honeymoom on both the East and West coast of the good ole' USA, before she died. We also had an amazing love affair for all the time we had together while we were both young and then much older. We went steady at age 13 to 16 and were deeply in love when Betty's parents broke us apart for "being too serious". They were probably right since I had a '49 Buick at age 14. We also did other "stuff" together while Betty's parents were at work such as her riding behind me on my Mustang motorcycle.

I used to pray that I could marry Betty some day while we were going steady and God did answer my prayers. For that, I will forever be grateful and blessed by her love and compassion.

So to all of you that also knew and loved the wonderful gal I was fortunate to finally marry, I dedicate my presence at this reunion to Betty Pritchard Loch Stewart.
