After graduation I was awarded a full scholarship to OCU for vocal music. Finally received degree at OSU-Stillwater.
Served US Navy (Korea-Vietnam) Staff for Admiral-Seventh Fleet Pacific.

Later spent several years with SW Bell Telephone-OKC then took staff position with J.I.Case Credit Corp. Finally I partnered with Sam Meineke of the Meineke Muffler franchise business. Lived in Houston for several years.

Came back to OKC in 1986 and married my highschool sweetheart you know as Gerry Baker (class 1960) I had given her a full-length white leather coat when she was 15/16. Her dad hated me from that time on. Gerry had a teaching career in English about (150 years ago) in OKC/Tulsa school districts.

We visit grandkids in Greeley, Colorado and drive around on our 24' pontoon boat every summer. Now semi-retired and live at the Osage Reservation Tribal Elders Community in Pawhuska, OK. Gerry has an Osage CDIB card even though she is Cherokee/Osage. Her mother was a Rogers. Her great uncle was Will Rogers.
